Karl Karlsson Joins ICEBERG Project as Researcher

DVM Karl Karlsson has been appointed as a researcher at the Stefansson Arctic Institute for the ICEBERG project, effective from 1 February 2026. Karl is also a member of the ICEBERG Advisory Board and Senior Associate Scientist at the institute.
Karl is a veterinarian and independent consultant focusing on One Health, an integrated and transdisciplinary approach that recognizes the close linkages and interdependence among the health of domestic and wild animals, humans, and ecosystems. Karl has extensive experience across the private, public, and international sectors in the fields of animal health and welfare, food safety and public health, quality management, auditing, and compliance.
